"SOL." oil is a 100% pure craft oil made by slowly low-temperature pressing and filtering domestically grown tea seeds that are not treated with pesticides.

This safe and healthy skin care oil contains the rich nutrients of plant seeds to help develop vibrant, healthy skin.

In general tea fields, the important agricultural product is the "leaves" that become tea. When cultivating tea, allowing the "flowers" to bloom is considered undesirable as it shows a lack of care for the tea field. Therefore, we rarely see flowers or fruits.

In Gifu Prefecture, where SOL. is based , and in Nara Prefecture and southern Kyoto, where TE=CHA is based, there are many tea plantations that have been abandoned due to aging and a lack of successors, and there are many fields where flowers bloom and large amounts of "tea fruits" grow.

"SOL." was born by focusing on such tea fields, taking care of the fallow tea fields and utilizing the "tea fruits". This is tea seed oil balm. The oil is extracted from tea seed oil, which is rich in nature and has a strong earthy scent, and the human touch makes use of the local natural resources in a sustainable way, creating a virtuous cycle. It is a sustainable moisturizing cream.

[Initiatives toward SDGs]
Taneno Shizuku Laboratory is working to achieve Goal 8 "Decent Work and Economic Growth" and Goal 12 "Responsible Consumption and Production" of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We harvest tea seeds from abandoned tea fields and, with the cooperation of users of employment support facilities, we prepare them into oil raw materials and upcycle the fruit skins, seed coats, and oil cake. We also manufacture tea seed oil balm together with people with hearing impairments.
