We have processed "Karishita Bancha" tea grown on red soil mountains into Hoji Bancha. Every year, the furrows of this tea plantation are filled with fallen leaves from deciduous broadleaf trees. By slowly growing the tea in an environment rich in minerals, the sweet aroma and flavor characteristic of bancha tea is achieved, resulting in a Hoji Bancha tea that is thin and absorbed into the body. The tea plantation is made of reddish yellow clay and gently slopes to the southeast.
