Hoji Bancha is made by slowly and carefully roasting bancha tea that has been aged in a warehouse for a certain period of time before shipping. The mature leaves, stems, and branches are not selected as they are harvested, and are roasted whole to create a balanced flavor. It has a clean, sweet, fragrant aroma that is unique to bancha tea, without any astringency. It is also recommended for babies and the elderly before going to bed.
